Alan Cullen
Chairman

Mr Alan Cullen has had decades of experience in senior positions in the finance industry including CEO of the Australian Finance Conference, Executive Director of Midland Bank’s Merchant bank and CEO of the Australian Bankers’ Association. His advice has been sought by listed and private companies, governments and their agencies and industry associations.
Mr Cullen has also had significant experience in dealing with clients from the ASEAN region as well as Europe, the Unites States and China.
He has advised and collaborated with Governments and Ultra High Net Worth Family Offices in travel, agriculture, dairy, and medicine. He has advised on business plans for establishment and expansion in Australia for commercial and education objectives and negotiated the purchase of the Australian Headquarters for a State Owned Enterprise.
Alan’s business advice has encompassed a wide range of business issues and he has been particularly active in assisting growth businesses of significant scale. His deep relationships with the banks have facilitated productive collaborations providing superior outcomes for clients.

Mr. Robin Chambers AO is the co-founder of Chambers & Company and has been the Senior Partner since its establishment in 1984. In June 2012, Mr. Chambers AO received the prestigious award of Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for “his distinguished services to Australia-China relations, particularly through the promotion of trade and investment relationships in the minerals and metals sector, and as an adviser on international corporations law”.
In 2014 Mr Chambers was appointed by the Minister for Trade and Investment, Andrew Robb AO MP, as an inaugural member of Australia’s first Trade and Investment Policy Advisory Council (TIPAC) “for his unsurpassed experience in China”.
Stephane Cooper

Mr Stephane Cooper has worked for over 22 years in global financial brands with firms such as Citi, Goldman Sachs JBWere, NAB and Morgan Stanley. Mr Cooper has a unique specialisation with regards to Wealth Management in Australia for clients from Asia given his role as Head of SIV and Executive Director at Morgan Stanley. Stephane is recognized as a leading SIV specialist and he and his team built one of Australia’s most respected SIV offerings. His opinions on SIV have been published in the Australian media numerous times.
Stephane has also consulted extensively to Wealth Management firms in Australia advising on areas such as Operations, Compliance and Wealth Management Systems and Platform integrations. He has a deep appreciation on the critical role that technology plays to be able to give effective global advice and access to the world’s best of breed money managers.
Stephane completed an Executive MBA (EMBA) from Melbourne Business School in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Monash University. He lives in Melbourne with his wife and children and has a passion for restoring classic cars.
Will Zhang

Will has 15 years of experience in the Australian investment industry. He has extensive experience in investment research, asset allocation, wealth management, and corporate advisory. Will has a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Monash University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Melbourne, he has also passed the CFA level 1 exam. At Noah Holdings Australia, Will was responsible for products & research, and investment advisory. Prior to that Will ran the China desk of Pitcher Partners Melbourne office.
Will was born in China and has a deep understanding of both the Australian and Chinese economy and businesses - over the years he has built a strong network in both Australia and China. Will is passionate about bridging relationships between Australia and China. He initiated and facilitated the “sister city” relationship between Hobart and Xi’an.
William (Boqi) Zhang
Senior Investment Advisor

William has had an extensive career helping clients navigate challenging investment environments both as an Investment Strategist and as a Financial Advisor. Prior to joining Channel Private, William was a Financial Adviser and Investment Committee member at Aura Wealth. He has also worked for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, focusing on helping Chinese clients invest in Australia as well as asset allocation and global fund manager selection.
Before starting his career in Wealth Management, William was a Quantitative Analyst/Equity Strategist for the Royal Bank of Scotland/CIMB Australia Equity Research in Sydney. He has also gained significant Chinese Market experience while working for Surety Capital in Hangzhou, China.

He is passionate about Global FX, Commodity and Thematic investment. He also enjoys tennis and watching Formula 1.

William holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Shanghai JiaoTong University, China. He also holds two Masters degrees from the University of New South Wales. A Master of Commerce in Financial Econometrics and Master of Philosophy in Finance.

Mr. Daniel Le is the Group CEO and Founder of Letax Group, and has been instrumental in leading the strategic direction and managing overall operations of the company.

Daniel is an experienced and proactive business and tax advisor and an exceptional wealth creation strategist. Before establishing Letax Group, Daniel was an accomplished advisor, having over 12-year tax and business consulting experience at large international and boutique specialist accounting firms in Melbourne. He also held financial leadership positions in the technology industry, including 2-year CFO post for one of the biggest internet companies in Vietnam.

Daniel holds a Masters of Business in Accountancy and is a CPA.
